IEG proudly earned a Gold Certificate in recognition of its dedication and hard work over the past three years in fostering a positive health, safety, and welfare culture for its employees.
To achieve the prestigious first-class certification, the highest recognition possible, IEG completed a thorough factory survey with the help of its trusted Health and Safety Consultants, Peninsula. The comprehensive safety report included over 100 checks across the business, all of which were passed without any concerns.
The commendation comes just two years after we first gained the ISO 45001 certification, awarded for its introduction of a robust Health & Safety Management System.
Securing the gold certificate has been an ongoing team effort, driven by the collective commitment of our management team. Over the last three years, the team has worked collaboratively to develop revised risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work. They have conducted regular safety checks, enhanced safety signage, and provided comprehensive employee training, all contributing to this significant achievement.
IEG’s Quality Health Safety and Environment Manager, Paul Alton, comments: “The health, safety and welfare of both of our employees and our customers here at IEG Compactors and Balers is of utmost importance. The bar has been set high achieving this Gold certificate but, with the continued commitment of everyone within the company, I am confident that we will be able to maintain this exceptionally high level of safety across our extensive factory premises and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.”
